During the period January to February 2021, Indonesia imported 70858 MT of Bitumen from Singapore. The country imported 22768 MT of Bitumen in January 2021 and 48090 MT in February 2021. During the period Jan to February 2020, Indonesia imported 110505 MT of Bitumen from Singapore. As per the data analysis by our team, import of the country has decreased by 36% during Jan to February 2021, as compared to the same period last year i.e. Jan to February 2020. Compared to last month i.e. January 2021, import of the country has hike up by 111% in the month of February 2021. Indonesia import of Bitumen from Singapore has decreased by 17% in February 2021, as compared to same period last year i.e. February 2020.
• Thailand & Singapore
During the period January to February 2021, Thailand imported 33000 MT of Bitumen from Singapore. The country imported 9053 MT of Bitumen in January 2021 and 23947 MT in February 2021. During the period Jan to February 2020, Thailand imported 15513 MT of Bitumen from Singapore. As per the data analysis by our team, import of the country has increased by 113% during Jan to February 2021, as compared to the same period last year i.e. Jan to February 2020. Compared to last month i.e. January 2021, import of the country has hike up by 165% in the month of February 2021. Thailand import of Bitumen from Singapore has increased by 279% in February 2021, as compared to same period last year i.e. February 2020.
• Thailand
During the period i.e. January to March 2021, Thailand imported 118896 MT of Bitumen. The country imported 18085 MT of Bitumen in January 2021, 33583 MT in February and 67227 MT in March 2021. During the period i.e. January to March 2020, Thailand imported 47693 MT of Bitumen. As per the data analysis by our team, import of the country has gone up by 149% during January to March 2021, as compared to the same period last year i.e. January to March 2020. Compared to last month i.e. February 2021, import of the country has increased by 100% in the month of March 2021. Thailand import has hike up by 302% in March 2021, as compared to same period last year i.e. March 2020.
Thailand imported 67227 MT of Bitumen in the month of March 2021. Thailand imported 35908 MT (53%) from Malaysia, 23115 MT (34%) from Singapore, 4323 MT (6%) from Taiwan, 3876 MT (6%) from China and 5 MT from UAE.
• China
China’s March Bitumen import from Singapore surged by 55% at 102,000 tons.
During the period January to March 2021, China imported 251686 MT of Bitumen from Singapore. The country imported 84876 MT of Bitumen in January, 64802 MT in February and 102009 MT in March 2021. During the period Jan to March 2020, China imported 336260 MT of Bitumen from Singapore. As per the data analysis by our team, import of the country has decreased by 25% during Jan to March 2021, as compared to the same period last year i.e. Jan to March 2020. Compared to last month i.e. February 2021, import of the country has gone up by 57% in the month of March 2021. China Bitumen import from Singapore has decreased by 32% in March 2021, as compared to same period last year i.e. March 2020.
• Australia & South korea
During the period January to February 2021, Australia imported 34680 MT of Bitumen from South Korea. The country imported 0 MT of Bitumen in January and 34680 MT in February 2021. During the period Jan to February 2020, Australia imported 32165 MT of Bitumen from South Korea. As per the data analysis by our team, import of the country has increased by 8% during Jan to February 2021, as compared to the same period last year i.e. Jan to February 2020. Compared to last month i.e. January 2021, import of the country has gone up by 100% in the month of February 2021. Australia bitumen import from South Korea has increased by 76% in February 2021, as compared to same period last year i.e. February 2020. In December 2019 Australia had imported 39600 tons of bitumen from South Korea.
